In most cases leaks can be so small that it might take months before you start to notice the damage they cause and before you know it microbial activity could have grown throughout the wall and in multiple areas.  We always compare this to the iceberg affect.  Some signs could be discoloration or musty smells.  In this situation SERVPRO of Southwest Las Vegas got called out to handle a small to progressive water leak. When on site the crew chief noticed these signs and after showing the homeowner the findings we were able to properly remediate the mold. The homeowner was thankful for our finding and we were in and out within 4 days and build back was starting before the end of the week.
